You want to own a home. You’re tired of giving someone else your money for rent. The time is
now. The rates are low. The market has stabilized. It is time to make your move.
I know how frustrating it can be to look for a new home in this area. Tons of options but not alot of
useful information. The city? The suburbs? Delaware County/Chester County/Montgomery
County? The State of Delaware?
This site is made especially for the one bedroom purchaser and seller. I work throughout the
Delaware, Chester, Montgomery, and New Castle County areas. Usually when you are in this
market, you have a lot of flexibility on location. Whether you’re a first time home buyer, need a
second home in the area, or may be downsizing, I realize how difficult it can be to find and compare
information on one bedroom homes across a wide area. Here, I am attempting to provide this
information in a one stop format.
If you are looking to rent, landlords insist on a year’s lease with tons of terms and high deposits.
You aren’t able to save toward a home of your own.
If you want to buy, where do you start? Which areas do you look in? How much can I afford?
What kind of cash reserves do I need/ expenses that I should plan for?
In this site, I am trying to answer some of these questions. “Getting Started” can provide you with a
quick overview of the entire process. The “Forms” section provides you with the primary actual
forms that are required to complete your purchase. The “Financing” link provides you with both a
quick payment calculator as well as additional contacts that may be of help. The other items here
provide you with additional details that can be helpful as you refine your search and you consider
your options.
If you have a question, suggestion, or would like something added to this site, let me know. In most
cases I can do it. This is a work in progress. As the market changes and time progresses, things
change – I try to stay ahead. This is not a static process. It improves everyday. It’s not about me
– it’s about you and your goals.
This can be an exhilarating and fun process or it can be a high stress death march. Being
prepared takes the stress out of the process and allows you to enjoy and consider your options at
your own pace.
